FOR FOOD PRODUCERS
Give buyers enough detail to make the next move.
A useful food listing answers the questions a chef would otherwise have to ask in the first message.
The wholesale-ready listing checklist
- A specific product name. Include the ingredient, format and relevant variety. Avoid making the brand name do all the work.
- Your own clear photographs. Show the actual product and packaging. Use images you have permission to publish.
- Price and unit together. State the currency and whether the amount is per kilogram, pack or case. Say if buyers need to request a quote.
- Pack size and minimum order. Distinguish sample quantities from regular wholesale orders.
- Availability and lead time. Date your stock update. Explain seasonality and how much notice you need.
- Delivery coverage. State where you can deliver, who arranges transport and how charges are determined.
- Product specification. Include relevant ingredients, storage, shelf life and documentation. Keep claims accurate and supportable.
- A working reply path. Use the contact and enquiry options available under your Agriquery plan and respond to real buyer questions.

Share one useful product, not a generic pitch
When sharing your listing, name who it is useful for and why. A restaurant buyer is more likely to act on a specific pack size, delivery area and use case than a general request to visit a marketplace. Confirm your current availability before promoting it.
